Good Evening.
Welcome to day 18 of my 31 day blog challenge!
What a journey it’s been so far. I’m really happy and overwhelmed by your comments! Please continue to share the blogs and bless others too.
Let’s get into today’s post 💪🏽
We live in such a fast-paced, quick moving, microwaved generation. We demand for the green light to always remain green and results should always be instant!
The thought of waiting a length of time for something takes too much effort and being asked to be patient is just annoying! We want things quickly, we want them now.
But…
Everything is process.
The finished product required time and expertise to be manufactured and to be built.
Our forefathers understood the true meaning of what it meant to build. Why it was vital and how to keep the building standing firm.
If you want it to last, you have to build it.
Even the Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 16:18:
‘..I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.’
If the Lord knew the significance of ‘building’ then we must understand that nothing comes already made, neither should you expect it that way.
- A marriage takes more than a fancy wedding to last.
- Bringing up children takes more than pretty clothes and a nursery rhymes.
- A successful business person takes more than a degree and suitcase.
- A business plan requires more than an idea.
In all these areas – dedication, time, delicacy, love, focus, forgiveness and so many other important investments are required.
But listen, building is painful, it takes sacrifice, it may bring you set backs, or you may have to change your plan in order to rebuild.
The good news is whatever you invest into, you receive a return. Shallow investment, shallow return. Heavy investment, heavy return.
It takes time to build. Be interested in the process, exercise patience and wait in anticipation for the harvest. If you worked hard and build it, you will most definitely enjoy the work of your labour.
Remember, the microwave only heats food, it does prepare (build) it. Stop complaining and get ready to work.
Build your studies
Build your marriage
Build your career
Don’t rush it. Build it.
I will be back tomorrow with another blog. Catch up here if you missed yesterday’s post. ✌🏽
