Welcome to day 24 of my 31 day blog challenge.
Today I want to encourage somebody. As you’re reading, allow the words from this blog to sink in.
Let’s go…
Did you know that you can be free and imprisoned all at the same time? Although you are not in prison physically, you can still be serving time and locked up in your mind.
Your mind holds tones of information and memories, therefore if it’s retaining anything which is toxic or undesirable and replaying it over and over again, the probability of it affecting you negatively is extremely high, inevitable in fact.
You see, the human will is very powerful. Once the thought of doing something enters your mind and you come into agreement with your heart, it’s only a matter of time before you take action.
If that thought was bad, the action that will follow will be too. It’s not rocket science, right?
Depression, low self – worth, guilt etc are all types of prisons. But I have got good news for you, you are not sentenced for life nor been given the death penalty, your terms are different: you can discharge yourself at anytime!
Your mind must be renewed with God’s word, positive thoughts and inspired ideas.
Romans 12:2 says,
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.
It’s imperative that you are not overcome or sidetracked by the systems and standards of the world.
The funny thing is, the world have the power to build you up, make you a celebrity and very successful however, can completely destroy you and bring you down to nothing! I mean, there are a few celebrities that come to mind immediately… very sad.
The will of God for your life is perfect, it’s good and pleasing. You will be extremely satisfied. Renew your mind, make positive confessions and break free from any kind of prison you feel stuck in.
Don’t allow any thoughts to keep you bound, beat down and defeated any longer.
Renew your mind.
