Right on with today’s blog.

Have you noticed that your posture changes dependant on your mood? Well, I know for sure, when i’m tired or hungry, I just can’t keep still. I either flop downward or can’t move lol. A plate of Jellof rice always does the trick!

I’m sure you can agree that your mood has a massive affect on your attitude and therefore causes a domino affect to everyone and everything around you. πŸ˜–

Today’s blog is to encourage you to keep your head up regardless of your circumstances.

When things are going well around us; smiling, laughing and being happy is relatively easy right? You laugh at jokes which aren’t even funny, why, because you’re in a good place.

But, the question is, how do you behave when things don’t turn out the way you hoped? When your plans don’t unravel how you imagined and time seems to stand still. Everything seems to just not working out.

Can you still keep your head up then?

Your head is the place of function, focus and foresight. Your mind is occupied in your head, it makes and takes decisions which have the ability to either set your life on a great path or cause you to start making regretful choices which can’t be undone. Your mind is a powerhouse, the place which will essentially make or break you.

This is why Wisdom is vital. Wisdom is simply the application of knowledge. Knowledge understands the light has turned red; wisdom applies the breaks!

We all need Wisdom, it will ensure that your head is kept up.

Scripture says in James 1:5 –

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Well, now we know what to do! Just Ask!

One thing which is inevitable is disappointment. People will disappoint you, your job will disappoint you, family will disappoint you… but you have got to understand how to cope and manage those things when they come knocking.

Keep your head up, don’t let life’s challenges and disappointments cause you to change your posture.

Keep moving, keep learning, keep hoping. Keep your head up.

Someone is depending on you, yes you! Your posture and position has to be upright, with your head in charge and mind focused.

Honey, keep your head up.
